My Baby is TWO.

He is 2.

How did that happen so quickly. Adding another child to the mix made it go by that much faster.

Let me tell you about my 2 year old, Copelan.
He. Is. Amazing.

The friendliest, most loving little cuddler I've met. Maybe because he is my son I think these things, he probably wouldn't cuddle with you (until after your first date).

He runs a lot. He does not sit still. Cutting his nails is a task that I need a gold medal for. The only food I can consistently get him to eat is Mexican so we have rice and beans weekly, quesadillas bi-weekly. His hair is usually a tragic mess I cannot contain, sometimes mimicking a Dumb and Dumber character. Getting it cut every month is not worth risking my sanity, my ear drums, or risking him losing an ear.

Most of his words are still muffled, but he will "talk" to anyone and follow that up with a hug. I had a 5 year old girl at the park tell me the other day that he needed to go to speech class and proceeded to tell me the name of the one at her school, ha! Thanks, hun. He's 2.

He is our world, and no matter how many times he gets out of bed each night, even if he comes to my bedside and scares the bejesus out of me, will not I love him any less.

We love you Copelan James Hafner. Life was missing something before you came into our world.

Photography: Grasmick Family Photos

Okay, I need to update this more than once a month, but lately that's all my busy life is affording me. I could tell you about all the laundry, work, errands, new mommy workout class, trips to Austin, how my kids decide not to coordinate nap times, amongst things I've been busy with... but I'll spare you the details ;)

A few weeks ago I was asked to take some family pics of the Grasmicks and their (at the time) almost 1 year old, Jaxson. We met at a park in Keller on a Saturday afternoon, and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Here are a few shots from our shoot.

This might be my favorite... ever.
