The Start of Something Good...

So here I go. Blogging. Never thought I would type those words to be honest. But, I needed a way to showcase my photos and not annoy everyone on Facebook with my constant newsfeed take overs. At least this way you have to make the conscious decision to reading my (lovely, yet meaningful) rants and view my (lovely, yet meaningful) photos without them being shoved in your face.

I have so much to share photography wise lately that I haven't shown to anyone but the clients (boo me).

I had a legit website I let come down and took my photography page off of my Facebook for the time being because I became very self conscious about it. Just thinking I wasn't good enough, and my old stuff looked so cheesy. I read this the other day which helped my photog state of mind tremendously, "The only photographer you should compare yourself to is the one you use to be." Um, YES. Why have I been constantly comparing myself to others?... Stop it. I can do this in my own time, my own way. I have a 17 month old and I have been pregnant the last 8 months. One may say I have been a little busy. Photography is a passion and fortunately not my only source of income. I do not have the luxury of attending all of the classes, buying the best thousand dollar camera, and the amazing lenses. But, that's okay. I think I am pretty darn good for what I'm workin' with. There I put it out there. I think I'm talented. That being said, let the pic uploading begin.

My beautiful friend Amy (Meyer) Uglietta allowed me the privilege of photographing her maternity as well as newborn baby Farrah.

Model much? I mean, hello good lookin'

Typical heart on belly pic. You know you love it.

I took the below pics of Farrah when she was 3 weeks old. It was so fun to dress up a little girl. Ahh, pink and tutus, how I long to play with you. Guess I will settle for trucks and frogs for now.

Stop with the cuteness.
